Do the children have to be the same age?

Not exactly the same, but similar. We recommend children within about 12–18 months of each other for the smoothest experience. Very different ages (e.g. a newborn and a 3-year-old) create very different care demands and can be challenging for a single nanny to manage well — though it's possible with the right experience.

Where does the share happen - one home or rotating?

That's up to both families to agree on before applying with us. Some shares are based at one family's home full-time; others rotate on a set schedule. Both work — but it needs to be decided in advance so we can find a nanny who's comfortable with the arrangement.

What happens if one family wants to leave the share?

This is something both families should discuss and agree on in writing before the share begins — including notice periods, how the nanny's employment is handled, and what happens to the remaining family. We can help guide the work agreement language, but the arrangement between the two families is ultimately outside our scope.

How is the agency fee structured for a nanny share?

Our nanny share placement fee is 18% of the nanny's estimated annual gross compensation, or starting from $5,500 — whichever is greater.
