We are looking for a professional full-time nanny who has at least 3 years of childcare experience, specifically with infants/newborns. We are placing a strong priority on child development, growth, and learning. We require that the nanny will spend time with our child learning new things, visiting museums, reading, playing at the park, and doing other activities that keep our child curious. We also expect our nanny to have high moral standards and values that align with ours. We would also like our nanny to be a good listener, and empathetic, and help us implement a parenting style that aligns with our values where we are nurturing, responsive, and supportive, yet set firm limits for our children.

We require our nanny to have their COVID vaccination and booster as well as other vaccines needed to be around with an infant. Our nanny also has to be comfortable with pets as we have two pet dogs.

Nanny responsibilities include taking and comprehending specific instructions including sleeping schedule and bottle-feeding times, providing the infant with nurturing care by keeping the baby safe and happy, preparing formula and smoothies, bathing and changing the baby's clothes, massaging the baby on a regular basis to ensure proper blood circulation, providing comfort and social interaction to teach the infant to be friendly and expressive, changing diapers and toilet training, taking the baby to parks and playgrounds, organizing motor-skills activities, administering medication under parents' instructions, light housekeeping, running family errands, and keeping a record of our child's development in a journal.

We will offer paid days off and paid vacation. We are also open to nannies bringing their children to work as long as they're the same age as our child. We will likely offer a holiday/end-of-first-year bonus. We are also open to the opportunity for our nanny to be a live-in nanny as we have a large extra bedroom with a large bathroom on a floor that is completely separate from where we live. We also may allow the nanny to use our car when transporting the baby around. Lastly, our nanny will also have the opportunity to travel with us!

Work Hours: Mondays-Fridays 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (estimated schedule; might change)
Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected Start Date: mid February or early March
